Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs, the Marketing Advisor will be responsible for planning and deploying marketing mix offensives aimed at promoting the organization's image and maintaining good customer relations. They will work closely with other departments, suppliers and agencies involved in marketing operations. 

This is a permanent position with a full range of benefits.

What you will do:

 Strategy - 20%:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of various action plans and strategies related to the marketing mix (product, price, distribution and communication).

  • Responsible for segmenting and identifying customer lists (member and occasional) relevant to BIXI Montreal and making the necessary recommendations based on the marketing approach.

  • Possess and develop a global vision (360 degrees) of the creative concept and ensure that all related activities (digital media, social, automated email, TV, radio and print) are consistent with the strategy.

  • Analyze and interpret statistical data in order to formulate orientations or recommendations related to customer behaviour and online experience issues such as the BIXI bike experience.

  • Monitor results and performance. Collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize the growth and profitability of the offering.

Management and performance - 20%:

  • Ensure that marketing mix activities are carried out within budget and on schedule.

  • Follow up sales on various channels and performance analysis tools.

Marketing initiative -  60%:

  • Deploy marketing mix offensives (product, price, distribution and communication).

  • Deploy digital and traditional advertising offensives (digital media, social media, automated email, TV, radio and print)

  • Deploy solutions, positioning and tactics to achieve business objectives, maximize growth and meet customer and BIXI's needs.

  • Represent the business unit in dealings with various marketing suppliers and negotiate agreements and service offer as required.

  • Monitor performance indicators available on our various digital platforms to facilitate decision-making and ensure optimal responsiveness to issues relating to engagement, conversion and retention.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the website and its performance (engagement, conversion and retention).

  • Contribute to the evolution of the mobile application and its performance (engagement, conversion and retention).

  • Contribute to the optimization of Google Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Grant Pay Per Click (SEM) (engagement, conversion and retention).

  • Contribute to the optimization of digital media campaigns (engagement, conversion and retention).

  • Monitor customer needs, market trends and competitive offerings. Administer and analyze several surveys (mini-survey and annual survey).

  • Analyze opportunities to develop solutions or products/services, evaluate their business potential and identify impacts in order to recommend preferred solutions.

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Diplôme universitaire 1er cycle en marketing, en communication ou tout autre formation pertinente.

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or other relevant field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar position

  • Experience in content production for digital and traditional media

  • Experience in digital campaign management and automation

  • Experience in managing websites, mobile applications, SEO, SEM and agency relationships

  • Experience in developing retention programs and data analysis is an asset.

Other

  • Fluent written and spoken French, professional level in English

  • Mastery of digital media platforms

  • Knowledge of customer experience optimization on mobile applications

  • Ability to juggle operational execution activities with strategic and planning activities

  • Google Analytics certification is an asset

  • Strong digital skills

  • Ability to solve problems and propose creative and innovative solutions

  • Understanding of the effectiveness of text, images, video and their combination to tell a story (storytelling)

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
