IT Operations and DevOps Manager

Reporting to the Director of Technology & Innovation, the IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing information technology within the organization, ensuring that IT systems, applications, and digital infrastructure are efficient, secure, and aligned with BIXI's strategic objectives. This role involves IT project management, coordination with other departments, and ongoing monitoring of technological innovations.

What you will do:

IT Systems and Project Management

• Lead, coordinate and supervise information technology projects.

• Manage external suppliers and partners for IT solutions and support services. More specifically:

o Control and direct the IT service provider in monitoring and evolving the technological infrastructure (networks, servers, storage systems, etc.).

o Control and direct the IT service provider to ensure the security of information systems, including risk and incident management.

o Supervise full-time on-site IT service providers technicians and manage their priorities

• Work closely with operational teams, functional departments and IT management to ensure that technology solutions meet needs.

• Implement and monitor performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and performance of IT systems and services.

• Respect the department's budget, including technology acquisition and maintenance costs, in collaboration with management.

• Evaluate, select and implement new technologies to support the digital transformation of the company.

DevOps:

• Support development teams in integrating DevOps practices into their working methods to ensure continuous delivery of current and future solutions;

• Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and systems in production;

• Implement CI/CD ( Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) tools to facilitate the development and deployment of applications;

• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance and security issues;

• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within IT teams.

Training & Experience

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or a related field.

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in information technology management, ideally in a similar environment.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures (networks, systems, databases, etc.) and best practices in information systems management.

• Experience in team and project management, with a proven ability to work collaboratively.

• Budget management and resource management skills.

• Docker containers and orchestrators

• Knowledge of good practices in IT security

Knowledge:

• Strategic vision : act in accordance with the short , medium and long term orientations of the organization while ensuring that technological initiatives are in line with the overall direction of BIXI

• Excellent communication skills : ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.

• Fluency in French and English , both spoken and written.
