Interested in working for the largest fleet of electric bikes in North America?

As a Customer Service Agent, you' will report to the Customer Service Assistant Director and be surrounded by BIXI experts and trainers who will help you contribute to the success of BIXI users' journeys. You'll be part of a group of new agents who will start training together, understand each other, collaborate and spend the summer together in a stimulating and inclusive work environment. You'll receive customer satisfaction reviews that speak to the quality of your work.

What your day will look like :

  • Handle incoming customer calls and ensure smooth rides in 5 North American cities (Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chattanooga and Tucson).

  • Meet customer service standards and uphold the company's values, particularly with regards to excellence and customer proximity.

  • Resolve customer queries (e.g. difficulty starting or completing a bike rental, questions about subscriptions or billing) and support them on mobile applications.

  • Accurately document and feed the customer database (CRM) shared with colleagues within the organization.

  • Apply knowledge of the organization, products, system and procedures to ensure first contact resolution.

  • Stay informed and up to date with new offers and changes during the summer season to provide customers with accurate information.

  • Collaborate with the dispatch department to offer assistance to users with bikes or stations.

This is a seasonal position, with no sales or solicitation required. The work is carried out in person at our offices for the first season.      

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

Knowledge and competencies

  • Completed High School Diploma

  • Availability for a work schedule that varies monthly within the hours of service covered (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.), with work periods of 7.5 or 9.5 hours per day. The contact center is open 7 days a week.

  • A minimum of 2 years of call center / customer service experience.

  • Perfect written and spoken French and English. You must be able to communicate clearly, so that your explanations and actions are easy to understand.

  • Ease and speed in using a variety of computer tools simultaneously (e.g. CRM, various computer programs, Microsoft Teams).

  • General knowledge of BIXI Montreal and its services (an asset)
