Reporting to the Technical Services Director, the Technical Services Supervisor plays a key operational role in ensuring the excellence of the department's services and BIXI products. The Technical Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the technicians team on the road and in the workshop, as well as the team of operators in charge of changing BIXI station batteries.

What you will do :

Team Management (40%)

  •  Plan and coordinate team activities (route, workshops, battery change) as needed (deployments, withdrawals, etc.).

  •  Evaluate team productivity according to initial planned objectives.

  • Coordinate individual performance evaluations of technicians on the road.

  • Establish and implement improvements and adjustments required to enhance team performance (if necessary).

  • Support teams / Intervene in the day-to-day activities of technical teams (as required)

  • Participate in all team HR activities (hiring interviews, training) .

  • Promote safe work practices (OHS) within his/her team.

  • Provide administrative management of Occupational Health and Safety files in collaboration with the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator.

Equipment and workshop management (30%)

  • Ensure compliance with established maintenance protocols and standards,  improve and optimize them as required.

  • Ensure that workshop technicians maintain a clean, organized and functional work environment.

  • Ensure that team vehicles are in good operating condition  .

  • Track and manage technicians' keys.

  • Maintain inventory and track technician team uniforms.

  • Oversee the introduction of the new ERP in collaboration with the Technical Services Director.

  • Coordinate training and adoption of the system by technical teams.

  • Act as a key user within the department for the implementation of the organization's new technological tools.

Administration and continuous improvement (15%)

  • Keep the technical guide up to date in collaboration with technicians.

  • Identify and propose areas for improvement (Power BI) by analyzing department performance and technical team response times.

  • Propose and implement solutions to optimize the efficiency of operations on the road and in the workshop.

 

Communication (15%)

  • Ensure smooth communication between teams and management.

  • Convey essential information to teams and ensure its application.

 

Perform all other related tasks as assigned.

Job requirements:

 

Education and experience :

 

  • Bachelor's degree in administration/management (relevant experience may be acceptable in the absence of a degree).

  • 2 to 3 years experience in staff management.

 

Skills :

 

  • Leadership and team spirit

  • Adaptability and organizational skills

  • Autonomous and proactive

  • Ability to summarize and analytical

  • Good knowledge of technical equipment and IT tools (progression, console)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent skills in drafting policies and procedures

  • Valid class 5 driver's licence

  • Bilingual: French and English

Assets:

  • Previous work experience on the road

  • Good knowledge of Montreal
